For over 17 years, I have worked in various forms of IT including web application development, front end design, project management, systems architecture and the testing and implementation of Windows and web apps. My focus has been on web technologies that offer the user a simple and functional experience with tools to manage content and updates. I enjoy programming and have a strong skill set in .NET, javascript, HTML, and CSS websites. I also have a great deal of experience with CMS systems and automating manual processes. I am looking to work with innovative minds within a company that fosters creativity and the use of cutting edge web technologies to deliver a more dynamic web experience.
In this role I am responsible for supporting and developing enhancements to HR systems that support 46+ Koch Resource Companies and 85+ Georgia-Pacific companies. These systems are primarily web-based with a few data warehouse-driven unix and windows applications. I am on the ESS Team within HRIT which supports the ESS (Employee Self Service), Manager Self Service, and HR Self Service websites. We also support various other Koch web-based HR systems.
This position was very similar to my current role at KBS. In 2010 when our HRIT group was merged into KBS, our customer base was increased to support all Koch companies and applications. In this role I supported and developed enhancements for Georgia-Pacific HR web systems such as Workers Comp, Relocation, Data Warehouse, and the HR company portal.
During my employment with IBM I worked for the Enterprise Services for Microsoft Technologies (ESMT) group which specialized in Microsoft application development. In this role I was able to develop and implement web applications for various clients across the country such as Bloomberg, State Farm Insurance, Pier 1 Imports, Covad Communications, the D.C. Government, and others.
